Update...

I'm sorry again that I haven't updated for a few days now but here I am. I know now that I will be updating at least once a day now because I have a week and a half break from lacrosse and school's ending soon. Any ways here are some pictures of the basement sealed and my room walls up.

 

Update...

Sorry I haven't updated the blog for about 4 days now but I've hardly been home and when I have it's been late at night or for a couple of minutes. Here's a few pictures of what has been happening; oh and They put the walls up on my bedroom!  

  Now this is the walls in my bedroom that are almost done and will be finished tomorrow!

What happened on 5/16/2012

Today the builders came and fixed all the cracks in the brick walls in the basement and added more blocks to the corners of the basement; tomorrow I will put those pictures on.

Hello! My name is Katie and my family is building a new house so I made this blog to help my family and friends or who ever is reading this to see what we're doing! I will try to post the most I can! I will probably post pictures on days that big things have been done to the house. Let me just tell you a little bit about this house, Our family has lived in it for about 14 years and It's a little over 100 years old. It was a little farm house and on the main floor it was about 1000 square feet! Our dining room was built as a lod cabin in the 1800's! It was a very nice house but it was a little small for us. Our plans started out as an addition on to the house but now it was torn down last Wednesday ( May 9, 2012). I got this idea for a blog from a group of moms that my mom is friends with! They were talking about how it would be cool to use my blogging skills from a class I take at my school and really see what I have learned! I hope you enjoy!
